I'm an Associate Professor at the University of Guanajuato, working in the Department of Electronics Engineering. My research group is the Vision, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. My main focus is information-theoretical planning and control for mobile robots.
Prior to joining the faculty at UGto, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Research, Engineering and Education Facility (REEF) of the University of Florida in Shalimar, FL.
I received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, where I was a member of the Sensing, Robotics, Vision, Control and Estimation Laboratory (SeRViCE Lab).
Previously, I received the Master and Bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico.
